IRON PAINT

An aged, lived-in, oxidised look for pots, ironwork, and accents.

This was inspired by the look of storm-battered bollards at the harbour, and the hulls of ships that are being worked on in the dockyard. Rust is poetic stuff. It’s history.

Iron Paint contains iron fillings, which when overcoated with the Rusting Agent, corredes creating a rusting finish

RECOMMENDED FOR:  INTERIOR and EXTERIOR surfaces. Commonly used on detailed cement plastered walls, pots, balustrades and light fittings. It is important to remember this product is designed to rust and just as metal rusts so too will Earthcote Iron Paint. It will not last forever, especially outside – it is designed to corrode and age.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: Not to be applied to structural steel or to any surfaces where the continued rusting effect could run onto adjoining finishes and discolour/stain them.
